Preparing a Competitive
MAC Application
The deadline to apply for a U.S. EPA Multipurpose, Assessment, or
Cleanup (MAC) grant is fast approaching. You must submit you
application by October 28th. But CCLR is here
to help! Send your draft application to CCLR for review as soon as
possible to receive crucial feedback for a successful
application.
CCLR and other Technical Assistance to Brownfields (TAB) providers also
presented a webinar preparing a competitive application. Brownfield
experts discussed ways to boost your chance of success and provided an
overview of the changes in the guidelines since last year.

Brownfield MARC Grant funding. EPA recently released a guide of virtual
tools and other approaches to continue to perform outreach during
COVID-19.

Land Recycling Conference Recap

2020 has been a challenging year, to
say the least. CCLR and our partners at U.S. EPA and DTSC created this
year’s California Land Recycling Conference to address head-on the
relationship between redevelopment and the struggles we’re facing in
public health, climate change, and racial injustice. From
affordable housing and renewable energy, to economic trends and policy
updates, 22 conference sessions delved into the many dimensions of
redevelopment. “CALRC was engaging, thought provoking, resonant with
