Topic:
Members in Good Standing
After
thinking about the many issues I can start addressing during my
presidency, I concluded that I start with the topic “members in
good standing”, because if you are a member not in good
standing you will be failing to do your part to contribute to the
growth and prosperity of NSREA.
As
far as I know, given my active involvements with trade
associations throughout the United States – the major
reason associations have dues in the first
place is to provide a fair basis for members to make a rightful
contribution to the survival and growth of the association.
I
believe that every person reading this message can pay their dues
regardless of whether or not you have been explicitly asked to do
so. Let us as members of the same NSREA family be honest with
ourselves to make this point: you cannot get the “what”, like the
typical question “what can NSREA do for me?”, when you
have not answered the “why” question.
So
let’s first answer this question. Why do I pay association
dues?
Trade
association members, such as NSREA members - pay dues for
the same reason any association members pay dues: It
costs money to run an organization, especially in our case, and
it also costs money to defend the best interests of NSREA and its
membership. It costs money to answer the question: “what can
NSREA do for me?”.
Please pay
your NSREA dues, today, if you have not done so already, by
clicking here. You may also donate by

March
31, 2020 is the deadline to pay your dues and remain a member in
good standing in order to take advantage of the benefits we would
be creating for our membership in 2020 and beyond.
Yours
Obediently,
Robbie
