Fire town hall held in Roseville
In support of Butte County, a town hall meeting for the survivors of the Camp Fire was held at The Grounds in Roseville last weekend. Representatives from multiple agencies provided
information on the current situation and some of the next steps forward. Following the meeting, Federal Emergency Management Agency representatives assisted with registration for FEMA disaster assistance.

County Youth Commission holding innovation challenge this weekend
This Saturday’s Placer Youth Innovation Challenge is a competition in which participants will compete in teams of 3-5 to design and present a solution to a problem in the community.

Weekend park and ride service to local ski resorts will soon be coming to Truckee, offering guests the option to help reduce congestion, ditch the car and be dropped off right
at the base of the slopes! The seasonal service will be provided by TART and

At their meeting in Auburn Tuesday, the Placer County Board of Supervisors will consider a development agreement for a new proposed achievable housing development in North Lake
Tahoe, as well as a feasibility study of proposals to redevelop the old fire station in Tahoe City for community use. They’ll also hear an update from Placer County Fire Chief George Morris on the changing nature of California wildfires. Can’t make it in person?
